Typically my paintings begin as abstractions, as brief moments and fleeting instants, which I strive to capture on canvas. My background in the visual arts, particularly in photography and in the film industry, has given me an aesthetic and spatial sense that I apply to my paintings.

My goal is to convey a glimpse into the beauty and oddity of everyday life. My work is intentionally open-ended, seeking to provoke questions and various interpretations. My great pleasure in painting comes from the varied responses of my viewers.
